Bluetti began in 2019 with one battery, two friends and a shared goal – energy independence for everyone. Wonder Law and James Ray, veterans of the energy storage industry, built a company – and a community – around shared ideals of resourcefulness, adventurousness and individual freedom. Bluetti Products
Bluetti’s initial focus was on creating minimalist portable power stations that would integrate seamlessly into a life on-the-go. When those products proved popular, they expanded into higher capacity backup batteries and introduced heavy duty power stations suitable for emergency backup, off-grid living and other power-intensive applications. What all Bluetti products have in common are their advanced Lithium Ion Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries. Their thermal and chemical stability makes them safer than many other batteries, an obvious advantage for in-home use. They also have very long lifespans (up to 3,500 cycles vs 300-400 cycles for a traditional lead-acid battery). And they’re non-toxic, non-contaminating and contain no rare metals, which makes them an environmentally responsible choice.

Project LAAF (Lighting an African Family)
In November 2021, Bluetti expanded their commitment to making energy available to everyone through an ambitious new philanthropic program. Project LAAF (Lighting an African Family) is a 5-year initiative with the goal of providing portable solar power to over 1,000,000 families in Africa that have been living without access to electricity. For families suddenly able to harness the renewable energy of the sun for their daily needs, the benefits are immediate and often transformational. With the ability to power electric lights comes the ability for children to study after dark, improving educational outcomes. Families can illuminate their homes with clean, safe electricity rather than costly and often harmful fuels. Electric cooking stoves reduce indoor air pollution and carbon monoxide poisoning dramatically – and eliminate the need to use scarce firewood or costly fossil fuels for daily meals. All possible because of a practical, portable power station from a company with a powerful vision for a brighter world.
